I’m Alisa, the founder of Baraza Impact Design Studio, and for over 25 years, I’ve worked at the intersection of strategy, innovation, and social impact. I created Baraza to help mission-driven organizations and changemakers like you transform your boldest ideas into actionable, real-world solutions that create measurable impact.

The word Baraza means “council” in Swahili—a gathering place where people come together to exchange ideas, make decisions, and drive action. Inspired by this concept, I built Baraza to serve as a collaborative hub, where insights, creativity, and strategy converge to bring meaningful change to life.
